Registration Types and Fees:

Academia:  425 euro
PhD Student: 375 euro
Industry 650 euro

The registration fee includes:
Admission to the conference, conference materials, meals and coffee breaks. Please note that it does NOT include accommodation.


Travel grants and registration fee waivers for young researchers are available for the EMBO I EMBO Symposia Series.  When submitting your abstract you will be asked to apply for either a travel grants or a registration fee waiver or both - there will be a small field to complete your reasons for requesting this financial support. These travel grants and registration fee waivers will be distributed at the discretion of the scientific chairs during the abstract review.  If you are awarded financial support you will be notified after the completion of the abstract review.  This is usually two months before the conference start date.  For travel grants the EMBL Course and Conference office will request your bank details and will transfer a fixed sum to you following the conference. For registration fee waivers, the EMBL Course and Conference office will request your bank details and will reimburse the registration fees.

Free Press Passes

EMBL will make a limited number of free press passes available for each conference. Please complete your details, and we will inform you as soon as possible after the deadline for registrations whether we can allocate a press pass to you. If we cannot grant you a free press pass, you will still be able to finalise your registration later with an online payment. To apply for a free press pass, please click here.
