Accommodation is not included in the registration fee of the conference.

How can I book accommodation for the conference?

Rooms have been pre-booked at our partner hotels, allowing participants to choose a suitable hotel at an EMBL discounted rate. Please contact one of our partner hotels before Wednesday 15 August 2012 in order to ensure availability. Prices do vary according to season, therefore please quote the code EES12-05 and confirm the exact price of the room with the hotel directly.

What type of room can I book?*

  • Single room - a room with a single bed for 1 person only
  • Superior single room - a larger single room or a double room used as a single
  • Double room - a room with double bed ideally for a couple
  • Twin room - a room with 2 single beds for 2 persons
  • Half of twin room - the use of a single bed in a twin room (shared with another participant)

*Note: not all room types are available in every hotel.

Why not post your request on the event Facebook page! Write on the wall to get in touch with other participants prior to the conference, ask any questions you may have to the EMBL Events team, or post a photo after the meeting!

 

Local Transport

Conference Shuttles Buses

Conference shuttle buses are free of charge for participants. They will go from designated bus stops near the hotels to EMBL and back, mornings and evenings. The conference bus schedule will be closer nearer to the date of the event.

Important info: Please note that NOT every bus stop will be used for every event. The bus stops for this conference are:
