PhD /Postdoc Summit
We are pleased to announce a summit only for a selected number of postdoctoral fellows and advanced graduate students, to be held on 13 - 14 May 2018 with guest speaker and Senior Cell Editor Lara Szewczak. Application is no longer possible.
The main goals of this trainee-focused event are
(i) to provide a relaxed setting for the presentation and discussion of exciting science at the frontiers of Cellular Mechanisms Driven by Liquid Phase Separation,
(ii) to provide a forum for exploring career development issues,
(iii) to inspire early-career scientists to have a voice at the following Symposium.
This summit represents an exciting opportunity for young scientists to network with postdoctoral fellows and graduate students at similar career points and to learn from prominent faculty in attendance.
Attendees are required to participate in both the summit and the symposium. A maximum of 24 postdoctoral fellows and graduate students will be chosen for this special summit.
Limited financial assistance is available for the summit in the form of travel grants.
Information required when registering interest during the abstract submission process:
Name and email address of primary supervisor.
Please provide a brief summary of your research interests and what you would speak about at the summit. Also, briefly summarise why you want to attend the summit and what you hope to get out of it (max. 255 characters).
