Leica Microsystems CMS GmbH: Meet with THUNDER!

10 October 2019, 13:00 - 13:45Flex Lab A

Jan Schumacher
Product Manager, Leica Microsystems

Using widefield fluorescence microscopy with intact, thick, biologically relevant specimens has often been perturbed by the out of focus blur inherent to this imaging modality. This fundamental disadvantage has diminished some of the benefits of widefield imaging, such as acquisition speed, lower photobleaching and phototoxicity and ease of use. The new THUNDER Imager Systems allow a clear view of details, even deep within an intact sample, in real time* without out-of-focus blur. Crisp and sharp 3D imaging is now possible with incredible ease and speed. The THUNDER Imagers are set to acquire your data at high-speed, high quality and still utilize the sample preserving benefits of widefield microscopy, enabled by Leica Microsystems unique computational clearing technology. The THUNDER Imager 3D Cell Culture based on our inverted microscope DMi8 will be available for you.
